Our courses are delivered on a roll on-roll off basis so you can start once you have enrolled.  The classes are delivered according to the knowledge requirements of the group following initial and diagnostic assessments to identify the training required to meet your needs.

• Compare information, ideas and opinions in different texts

• Identify meaning in texts to distinguish between fact and opinion

• Using a range of punctuation

• Spell words used most often including specialist words

• Write text to an appropriate level

 

Maths

• Using whole numbers and decimals in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

• Calculating the average of a set of numbers; mean, mode and median

• Calculating Percentage increase and decrease

• Calculating fractions

• Using a calculator to complete calculations

• Using mental maths and being able to complete calculations without the use of a calculator
