Overview
Complete your driver training with NWEAT; courses running across Liverpool City Region. You must have held a driving licence for 12 months to be eligible for the course.

You will work towards the following qualifications Level 2 Certificate in the Introduction to the Role of a Professional Taxi and Private Hire Driver (QCF). Known as the VRQ or BTEC.

The course is fully-funded subject to eligibility and also covers the cost of your DBS check, medical and Taxi badge with Sefton or Knowsley Council.
This Level 2 certificate is accepted by most Licensing Authorities. By obtaining this accredited qualification, you will promote a professional image for yourself and your company, and you will further improve your skills and knowledge as a private hire or taxi driver.
ABOUT
The Level 2 Certificate is designed to support and enhance the knowledge of prospective drivers who are looking to begin a career in transporting passengers. Northwest Education and Training is offering this Level 2 Certificate in the Introduction to the Role of a Professional Taxi and Private Hire Driver (QCF). This qualification is delivered by our sector specialist who currently works in the industry so regularly keeps up date with the knowledge to pass on to our learners.
Assessments
​You will complete 9 units which are subject to assessment, and achievement of the qualification is through an externally set computer generated test for each unit. The assessment will also include two practical wheelchair observations.
